- We settle the Patrimonial Transfer Tax electronically. If the vehicle is less than 10 years old and/or the buyer is not registered in Catalonia, they will have to pay the Property Transfer Tax which will depend on the technical data of the vehicle itself and the Autonomous Community where the vehicle is registered.
- The Provincial Traffic Office verifies that the Circulation Tax (Impuesto sobre Vehículos de Tracción Mecánica, IVTM) for the previous year (2023) has been paid, otherwise the change of title cannot be made.
- In addition, at our vehicle agency in Barcelona we can instantly check if the vehicle is free of charges before finalizing the purchase, requesting a telematic report to Traffic.
